Hi! I am Maria, a travel – nature – adventure and photography lover.

It doesn’t matter how old I am, what my job is and where I live, but how I choose to spend my time in each place I visit. I don’t count countries, I count experiences. I don’t travel just to relax at a beach, I travel to explore to the fullest. I don’t go to the other side of the world just to walk around a city, I go to see unique landscapes, to meet locals and live once in a lifetime experiences.

I have studied Tourism Management and used to work in the tourism field. I organize my own trips and have traveled both solo and with company. I have been to countries with temperatures from -25C to +50C, to mountains, deserts, reefs, rivers, rainforests, chaotic cities and colorful villages. And I have decided to share every single personal experience on this travelblog, that might motivate and inspire other travelers to escape from the safe path and discover some off the beaten track places of our planet.

**Although I speak intermediate Spanish, medium French and basic Italian and German, my native language is Greek, so please forgive me for any mistakes you may find in the posts. I would really appreciate if you are not too strict about my writing, but if you cannot or if you find it difficult to understand my English, you also have the chance to read the same posts in MY language: Greek! 😀 😀 😀 (having second thoughts about this?
